African Woman

Beautiful is too fragile a word For the laughter in her eyes Her stride,

Like music Rhymes her way through the worlds,

The way she holds up her head,

Defies the oddstThe flick of her wrist Shames the anxieties of your heart,

The mystery of her words chills fires and thaws ice,

The nonchalance of her grace sweeps like incessant tides,

The calm in her eyes flaunts infinite elegance,

Her wholesome imperfections Halt the world in mid-stride,

The song in her smile ,the blossom in her cheeks ,

The beat of her heart fusion of silence and elation ,

Passion and serenity she’s a faultless synthesis of all things immaculate
